Tips on how to ‘GET THE SHOT’

The following tips apply to all kinds of photography and filming. Take a quick look below before you head out on your trip with Outdoor, and hopefully, you’ll come back with the money shot!

The best camera is the one you have with you

Don’t forget, if you’re on a guided trip, you may not be allowed to take your phone or camera. However, you will be able to take a helmet-mounted GoPro camera. There are also options to purchase videos and photos from Outdoor which you can edit in creative ways.

Clean the lens

Lens glass loves to collect dust and dirt… give it a wipe with a soft cloth before you snap.

Lighting

Good lighting is key! There are many ways you can use the light, experiment to find out what works!

Keep it steady

The less your camera shakes, the clearer your image will be. Play around with various techniques to avoid any movement.

Burst mode

When you’re shooting action, your subject is MOVING! So it sometimes helps to hit the burst mode and grab a few images. This way you can select the best one after.

Editing
